Workshop Objectives:

Following the launch of the European Commission Roaming Regulation, which came into force on 30 June 2007, the industry has been carefully following its potential extension to SMS and data roaming services. While the ‘Eurotarrif’ has revolutionised roaming for the European customer in terms of price, it has disrupted a very valuable revenue stream for operators, and with the price ceiling’s set to lower at least twice more before the regulation expires in 2010, the race is on to optimise pricing and take advantage of value-added services before more pricing caps come into force.

This workshop will explore the strategies available for creating innovative and structured pricing offerings for data roamers and also examine the valueadded services and virtual home environments which will help encourage consumer loyalty and drive data usage. The target audience of this workshop is: Heads of Strategy & Planning, Heads of Pricing, VAS Managers, Heads of Wireless Services, Heads of Business Development, and all those involved in data planning and service offerings. Registration will begin at 9:30 and the workshop will run from 10:00 through to 16:00 with breaks for refreshments and lunch.
